In yesterday's evening sale of classical Chinese drawings, an ink-and-color on paper handscroll by Wu Guanzhong ``Along the Yangtze River,'' sold to fund an eponymous scholarship at Beijing's Tsinghua University, raised HK$15.8 million. Top works by dead Chinese masters such as Zhang Dagian, Bada Shanren and Xu Beihong also fetched more than their high presale estimates.
