Exploring Warhol at Columbus' Wexner Center for the Arts (Clevelend, US)
The Wexner exhibition plunges a viewer deep into Warhol's cinematic side. Visitors can feast on dozens of films and videos, which play simultaneously in the semidarkened galleries on large screens or on small monitors equipped with headphones. To display the exhibition, the Wexner transformed itself into an immersive experience by redesigning its galleries so that multiple movies and videos could be displayed side by side with standard, two-dimensional artworks, such as examples of Warhol's Marilyn and Elvis paintings.

Titian campaign saves £50m 'Diana' for nation (London)
A campaign by Britain's art establishment to raise £50m in four months to buy a Titian painting from one of the nation's wealthiest men has been successful, but only after the Scottish government stepped in with a £17.5m grant. The purchase will be announced in the next few days. The grant from the Scottish Executive represents more than a third of the total cost of Titian's Diana and Actaeon, almost all the rest coming from other public sources.
