US - Fate of de Young's tribal art hangs in balance

Judges in Florida and New York have ruled that some or all of the art can be seized. City Attorney Dennis Herrera's office contends the de Young owns the entire collection. No one disputes that Friede's intent was for the entire collection to go to the de Young for public display. The question is whether his financial dealings will allow that to happen.
