Ask a corporate leader. Houston as an arts "mecca" is a major reason why it continues to show a high growth in job creation attracting talented young professionals, as well as new businesses. Ask an economist. The arts are big business here and a good investment. Ask an educator. The arts give our youth the creative edge we need to compete in the 21st century work force.
